We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Debit, Visa, Mastercard and cash.
Late Cancelations/ No Show Policiy
We require 24 hour notice for any cancelations. This is due to the very high demand of appointment requests. Failure to do so will result in a deposit needing to be made upon scheduling any future appointments.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
Any dogs that are coughing should send their owner into the clinic and alert us that you are coming in, we will put you directly into an exam room.
If you are more than ten minutes late for your appointment we will ask you to reschedule for a later date as a courtesy to those patients with appointments after you.
Patient Insurance Policy
North Burnaby Pet Hospital does not fax or assume responsibility for submitting pet insurance claim forms. We are more than happy to have the doctors sign and complete the required information but we will not submit the form to the carrier.
We require 48 hours notice when calling in to get a refill of any medication. Please also be aware that we need to have seen your pet for an annual exam in the last twelve months to refill any medications. For certain chronic medications we require up to date bloodwork and an exam to be done every six months.
